I’ve been looking at this pen for a while now but kept putting it off because I wasn’t sure I’d be okay with the clip placement. The pen feels really good in hand, no issues with the clip and it is well balanced. I’m so glad I decided to purchase the matte black VP with fine nib. This is my second gold nib pen, I also have the Sailor 1911L with fine/medium nib, but this VP fine nib is by far the smoothest writer of all my pens. I can’t believe I waited this long but so glad I finally have it in my collection. There will definitely be more added in the future. If you’re on the fence about getting this pen, do it, you won’t regret it!
