Midori XS Tape Dispenser – Black (A)

The Midori XS Tape Dispenser is part of Midori's XS Extra Small series — a line of miniature desk tools that won the Good Design Award for proving that something this small can still be fully functional. At just 56 mm long when closed, it is one of the smallest tape dispensers in the world, and the only one that comfortably lives in a pencil case, a pocket, or the small pouch of a travel bag without taking up meaningful space. Despite the dimensions, a 12 mm wide × 5 m roll of cellophane tape fits inside — the same width as standard tape, just on the industry's smallest core diameter.

The rotary cover slides open 180 degrees when the tape is in use, exposing a finger-friendly lift zone that makes it easy to pick up the tape end even with small hands. A specially processed stainless steel blade cuts tape cleanly and straight with minimal force — no tearing, no jagged edges. When the tape is not in use, the cover closes back down to protect it from dust and dirt during storage or carry. The front face is translucent so the remaining tape level is visible at a glance without opening the dispenser. Refill tape rolls are available separately. Also available in White, Dark Red, and Navy Blue.
