Mitsubishi uni-ball ZENTO Flow – Fluorite, 0.38 mm

The ZENTO Flow is the premium model in Mitsubishi's ZENTO line, sharing the same exceptional ink as the Standard while stepping up the materials and presence of the pen itself. Where the Standard keeps things clean and accessible, the Flow adds an aluminium grip and a more considered finish for those who want a little more from their everyday writer. Fluorite is the lightest, most luminous of the Flow's colour range — a pale, airy tone that takes its name from the mineral's characteristic translucency. It is a colour that feels fresh without being loud, and works as naturally on a clean desk as it does in a pen case full of colour.

The 0.38 mm tip is the finer of the two sizes available in the Flow, and for those who gravitate toward precise, detailed writing it makes an immediate difference — tighter lettering, denser notes, and cleaner lines in small spaces. The body follows the same two-tone formula as the rest of the range: a durable ABS plastic upper barrel meeting a long anodized aluminium grip section in a matching shade. The aluminium grip gives the pen a grounded, slightly front-weighted feel that suits a deliberate, controlled hand. A spring-loaded wire clip at the back end is colour-matched and opens wide enough to secure cleanly to a notebook cover or planner.

The ink is the same ZENTO water-based pigment formula shared across the line — POA surfactant technology reduces writing friction by approximately 40% compared to conventional water-based rollerballs, while attracting particles keep lines sharp with minimal feathering or bleed-through on most papers. Quick-drying and water-resistant once dry.
