MD Notebook Journal, Codex Binding, A5 - Dot Grid

The MD Notebook Codex 1 Day 1 Page is made for writing one full page every day. Like the rest of the MD Notebook line, it’s simple and lets the paper stand out. It uses MD Paper, which Midori has been developing in-house since the 1960s. The paper is smooth and resists bleed-through and feathering, even with a fountain pen.

The codex binding leaves the thread-sewn spine exposed, so all 368 pages open flat, from the first page to the last. The 5 mm dot grid gives just enough structure for neat lines of text, while staying out of the way when you draw diagrams or layouts. There’s a small space at the bottom of each page for the date and page number. The corners are perforated, so you can tear one off to mark your place. Once it’s full, it becomes a book that’s uniquely yours.
