CanadaLove this pen, and the colour is gorgeous.
I have been using my Lamy Safari for YEARS and wanted to level-up to a metal body so I bought the Al-Star. This pen is great straight out of the box, it's smooth and writes beautifully. If you like a thinner line, I'd get the EF instead of the F nib. I would compare the F to a 0.7 personally. The colour is very vibrant and eye-catching, and I like that the section is a darker translucent plastic, so you can see the ink moving through the feed. Great pen and great store!

The Lamy Al-Stars are phenomenal pens that are perfect right out of the box. Super smooth writing. I've had a Lamy Safari for YEARS and it still writes great, and I wanted another and decided to level up to a metal pen body. It's not much heavier than the Safari, it's well-balanced and the flow is great. If you like a really fine nib, the EF is probably better than the F for you. Both of mine are F and they write around a .7 Ordering with Noteworthy is easy and fast, and their customer service is great.
