LAMY AL-star Mechanical Pencil 0.5 mm – Rollerskate

The Rollerskate is LAMY's most energetic AL-star in years — a 2026 Special Edition that draws directly from the visual language of 1970s and 80s roller disco culture. The bright pink anodized aluminium body is paired with electric blue accents throughout, and the transparent blue grip section reveals the pencil's internal mechanism in a way that adds a playful depth to the overall look. It is a colour combination that commits fully to its reference — bold, vivid, and entirely intentional. The AL-star is the aluminium evolution of the Safari design: same ergonomic proportions, lighter weight than you would expect from a metal pencil, and a build quality that holds up to daily carry without any concessions.

The triangular ergonomic grip section guides finger placement naturally, making it comfortable for extended writing and sketching sessions. The push-button advance mechanism is gaitered with matte black rubber for a tactile, secure action, and the spring-loaded metal clip in electric blue matches the accent colours throughout. The pencil comes pre-loaded with a 0.5mm LAMY M41 high-polymer lead and includes a LAMY Z18 eraser with cleaning needle. Compatible with LAMY M41 0.5mm replacement leads and LAMY Z18 eraser refills.
