Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen, Deep Red - B (Broad)

The Kaweco AL Sport is the metallic evolution of one of stationery's most enduring silhouettes. Where the classic Sport is made from lightweight plastic, the AL Sport steps up to solid anodized aluminium — a material that gives the pen a noticeably different feel in the hand: denser, more substantial, with a smooth matte finish that grips well and wears beautifully over time. The Deep Red colourway is rich and confident, sitting somewhere between burgundy and a true red, with silver accents on the octagonal screw cap for a clean contrast.

The AL Sport follows the same iconic design logic as the original 1911 Sport — "small in the pocket, great in the hand." At 10.5 cm capped, it slips easily into a shirt pocket or pen case. Post the cap and it extends to a comfortable full-length 13 cm, perfectly balanced for extended writing. The screw cap adds a secure, rattle-free closure that holds up well in a bag or pocket. All metal threading inside the cap means the fit stays precise over years of use.

The pen accepts standard international short cartridges or a Mini Converter (sold separately) for bottled ink. The stainless steel nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, and Extra Broad, and is made in Germany. One blue cartridge is included. The clip is sold separately.
