A tremendous amount of thinking went into creating this line of mechanical pencils in order to achieve the perfect writing experience. One of the problems that mechanical pencil writing presents is how the graphite lead wears irregularly as you write. The result is a dull graphite lead that stops providing clear and consistent defined lines.
Until now. The core of Kuru Toga Mechanical Pencils is an "engine" divided in 3 different parts. These components interact with each other rotating the graphite lead as you write, creating a conical shape, perfect for writing sharp and crisp characters continuously and every time you use it.
