The MD Notebook Light is a thin, easy-to-carry version of the MD Notebook. It uses the same MD Paper as the original, Midori’s in-house paper that’s smooth to write on and resists feathering and bleed-through, even with a fountain pen. Each notebook has 48 pages in a slim, saddle-stitched format.
At A4 Variant size, it has the same wide, magazine-like proportions as the full MD Notebook A4, but it’s light enough to keep in your bag and take out whenever an idea comes to you. The 5 mm grid is inspired by genko yoshi, traditional Japanese manuscript paper, and gives structure to notes, diagrams and sketches. The set comes with three notebooks, so there’s always a fresh one ready.
