The MD Notebook is one of those objects that earns its reputation quietly. There is no ornament and no decorative finish, just MD Paper, the paper Midori has been developing in-house since 1960. It is used for the pages, the cover and the flyleaf, and you notice it the first time a pen touches the page: smooth and comfortable with everything from fountain pens to pencils.
The MD Notebook Journal is a different format of the MD Notebook, made for recording everyday life like a diary. The Grid Block layout divides each two-page spread into eight sections, so you can use it however suits you: a to-do list, a day planned by the hour, or a week at a glance with seven days plus a memo. The grid inside each block keeps text and diagrams neat. The thread-sewn binding opens flat, and a bookmark string and index stickers are included.
