The Midori goat leather cover is the most considered way to carry an A5 MD Notebook. It is made from a single piece of vegetable-tanned goat leather, left undyed, so the cover starts out a soft light beige and gradually deepens to amber as it is handled and exposed to light. Surface treatment is kept to a minimum, which means the natural wrinkles and marks of the hide show through and, with use, blend into the leather's character.
The cover fits an A5 MD Notebook snugly and stays out of the way of its 180 degree opening. Two interior pockets hold the notebook's front and back covers in place, two card slots take small papers and cards, and a pen holder is set at the inside edge so it does not create a bump while writing.
