The MD Paper Pad takes the paper Midori has been developing in-house since the 1960s and puts it in its simplest, most practical form. Each sheet is blank, cream-coloured MD Paper, the same paper used in the MD Notebooks. It feels smooth under the pen and resists feathering and bleed-through, even with a fountain pen.
Instead of being glued along one edge, this pad is glued on two sides, so the stack stays stable and comfortable to write on. The corners are cut, which makes the pages easier to flip through. The A5 size is easy to keep on a desk or take with you, and the blank pages work for notes, lists, sketches, or quick drafts.
