The Kaweco Classic Sport is one of those pens that has earned its reputation the hard way — by being genuinely good at its job for over a century. The design traces back to 1911 and was refined into its current octagonal form in 1935. Navy is one of the most enduring colours in the range: a deep, solid blue with gold accents giving it a classic, almost nautical character that has nothing to prove and nothing to overstate.
The Classic Sport follows the same pocket-first logic that made the Sport series an institution. At 10.5 cm capped, it disappears into a shirt pocket or the small pocket of a bag without a second thought. Post the cap and it extends to a comfortable 13.3 cm — balanced and easy to hold for extended writing. The body is made from lightweight, impact-resistant ABS plastic, and the screw cap closes securely enough to carry ink without worry. The gold-plated stainless steel nib is manufactured by Bock in Heidelberg One blue ink cartridge is included inside the barrel. The pen also accepts Kaweco short international cartridges or the Mini Converter (both sold separately)
