The Kaweco ART Sport in Terrazzo is a pocket fountain pen full of personality. Colourful mosaic inlays stand out against a creme-coloured base, echoing the traditional Terrazzo flooring it is named after. The gold-plated trims add a warm finish.
Each pen is made from high-quality acrylic using an artistic pouring process, so every one has its own texture and pattern. The glossy, hand-polished surface makes it a real eye-catcher. Because of the hand polishing, the length of each pen can vary slightly, between 12 cm and 13 cm. Closed, the pen is just 10.7 cm, so it slips easily into a pocket or pen case. Once the cap is posted, it reaches a comfortable 12.7 cm for writing.
It comes fitted with a stainless-steel medium nib made in Germany, a good all-round choice for everyday writing and for anyone new to fountain pens. The nib screws out, so it can be swapped for a different size or material later. The pen takes standard international short cartridges and works with the Kaweco Mini Converter if you prefer bottled ink. Each pen arrives in a classic Kaweco metal tin, which makes it a nice gift or a keepsake for collectors.
